Notice of move out: Are you leaving us? As much as we don’t like for our members to leave us, we understand that needs change and therefore changes must be made. In accordance with our lease agreement, a 30-day written notice is required. Please give this notice to the leasing chair. The leasing office has all move-out information and an official move-out notification form to be completed. Contact them to get a copy.
Any resident who moves before the 30 days is responsible for rent payments for the duration of the move-out notice or until one day before a new resident moves in, whichever comes first.
In the case of death, government rent subsidies stop after 14 days. The estate is responsible for rent from the date of death until the keys are turned in. If a unit is not vacated within 14 days, the estate will be charged fair market rent until the apartment is inspected and keys are turned in.
