BY ORDER OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN:

Effective immediately through May 3, 2020:

To slow the spread of COVID-19, NON-ESSENTIAL VISITORS ARE PROHIBITED.

VISITORS MAY ENTER ONLY IF THEY ARE:

  • Providing medical care
  • Supporting the activities of daily living (ex. eating, bathing, toilet use/continence, ambulation, transfer)
  • Exercising power of attorney or guardianship
  • Visiting someone in critical condition or hospice
  • Visiting under exigent circumstances
  • Performing governmental functions

DO NOT ENTER (even if you are an essential visitor) if you have ANY of the following:

  • Symptoms of a respiratory infection (such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath)
  • Close contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with COVID-19

A PERSON CAN HAVE THE VIRUS AND NOT HAVE SYMPTOMS. YOU WON’T NECESSARILY KNOW YOU HAVE COVID-19. You can spread the disease to others without knowing it.

VIOLATING MICHIGAN’S COVID-19 STAY-AT-HOME ORDER COULD COST YOU $1000 and 90 days in jail. Local police departments have been charged with enforcing this order.

We have a zero-tolerance for putting our residents/members at risk. We will be reporting violators to the police and the Department of Health and Human Services. Social distancing is essential to saving lives.
