CSI is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Theresa Maxis, a beautiful affordable senior housing apartment located in Northwest Detroit, adjacent to the historic campus of Marygrove College. This acquisition marks a significant milestone as Theresa Maxis becomes a cherished part of our extensive network of co-ops.

Developed in partnership between the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Marygrove College, Theresa Maxis was built under HUD's Capital Advance Program. This well-maintained property offers 80 one-bedroom units, all of which are fully subsidized, ensuring affordability and comfort for our senior residents.

The transfer of ownership took place last Thursday, and we officially began managing Theresa Maxis today. This property is our 5th co-op in Detroit, our 29th in the Michigan region, and the 64th in our nationwide family. With this addition, CSI now manages a total of 6,891 units, reinforcing our commitment to providing quality housing for seniors.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our finance and development department for their hard work in securing this acquisition and to our operations team for their seamless transition efforts. We are proud to have managed the acquisition of two sites in one day for the first time in our history.
