Royal Oak Manor is pleased to announce that we will be creating 13 brand-new accessible units as part of our upcoming renovation project. These units will have features that make them more accessible for individuals with a permanent mobility impairment, including widened doorways, lowered kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops, open (cabinet-free) areas beneath sinks, roll-in shower and lower shelves and hanger bars in closets. These accessible units will likely be ready to rent in early summer of 2021 and we are taking names for the waitlist beginning on September 30, 2020.

Royal Oak Manor Co-op is gradually transforming into a 100% smoke free co-op; smoking is not allowed in any common areas or within 25 feet of the building. All current members will be grandfathered in to smoke in their own apartments. All new members as of 11/1/2018 are not allowed to smoke in their own apartment.

Resident members enjoy the peace and privacy of their apartments, but also enjoy participating in the frequent community activities. Come join in on bingo, pot-lucks, and card playing. There are occasional catered events and many other chances to be a part of a lively community.
